Clay & Canvas was born in a converted warehouse on Austin’s east side with a simple belief: everyone can make something beautiful. Since 2018, we’ve been a home for painters, potters, and total beginners who just need a little nudge.

We believe art isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. Our studio is built around slow making, natural materials, and a community that cheers messy first attempts.

A space designed to create
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood our 2,200 sq. ft. studio with natural light. We have six potter’s wheels, two kilns, a dedicated painting loft, and a lounge corner with locally roasted coffee. It’s less classroom, more creative sanctuary.
