Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want you to create with confidence. Here's how we handle refunds, credits, and cancellations across all our offerings.
Our commitment
We understand that plans change. We aim to be fair and transparent with our refund and cancellation terms. The details below apply to all bookings made directly with Clay & Canvas Studio.
Regular classes & workshops
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled class start time are eligible for a full refund to your original payment method.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class will receive a studio credit valid for 90 days from the original class date.
- No‑shows and same‑day cancellations are not eligible for refunds or credits.
- If Clay & Canvas cancels a session for any reason (instructor illness, weather, etc.), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Private lessons
- You may cancel or reschedule a private lesson with 24 hours' notice at no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur a 50% fee of the lesson price.
- No‑shows are charged in full.
- Lesson packages (e.g., 4‑lesson bundle) are non‑refundable but fully transferable to another person or a different medium.
Group events & private parties
- For private events and parties, a 50% deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
- Deposits are fully refundable if the event is cancelled 14 days or more before the scheduled date.
- Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the event forfeit the deposit but any additional payments are refunded.
- Events cancelled within 7 days are non‑refundable.
- Public events (Sip & Paint, Family Clay Day, etc.) follow the same 48‑hour policy as regular classes.
Gift cards
Gift cards are non‑refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. They never expire and can be used toward any class, event, or private lesson. If a booking made with a gift card is cancelled under the refund terms above, the credit will be returned to the gift card balance.

To cancel a booking and request a refund, please contact us as soon as possible:

Please include your name, booking reference or class name, and the date you were scheduled for. We process refunds within 5–7 business days.
Exceptions
We understand that emergencies happen. If you have an extenuating circumstance (medical emergency, family crisis), please reach out. We review all cases individually and will do our best to accommodate you.
