1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Services provided

Clay & Canvas Studio offers painting, pottery, and mixed-media classes, private lessons, group events, gift cards, and related art services. All classes are subject to availability and minimum enrollment requirements. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions with reasonable notice.

3. Bookings & payments

• All bookings must be made via our website, by phone, or in person.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your spot.
• Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice; confirmed bookings are honored at the rate paid.
• We accept major credit and debit cards, and valid studio gift cards.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is detailed on our Studio Policies page. In summary: cancellations more than 48 hours in advance are fully refundable; within 48 hours, studio credit is issued. No-shows forfeit payment. Private lessons require 24‑hour cancellation notice.

5. Participant responsibilities

• Arrive on time. Late entry may be restricted if it disrupts the session.
• Follow all safety instructions, including those related to pottery wheels, kilns, glazes, and tools.
• Wear appropriate clothing — you will likely get paint or clay on yourself. Closed‑toe shoes are mandatory in pottery areas.
• Treat instructors, fellow students, and studio property with respect.

6. Liability & waivers

Art activities involve inherent risks (sharp tools, kiln heat, wet floors). By participating, you assume these risks. Clay & Canvas Studio and its employees are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, except where caused by gross negligence. All adult participants must sign a liability waiver before their first class. Parents/guardians must sign for minors.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and class materials — is owned by or licensed to Clay & Canvas Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission. Students retain rights to the artwork they create in the studio.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
